NJ Company Has Trouble with Workers Comp Insurance

Posted on July 23rd, 2009 2 Comments

A New Jersey non profit organization that contracts teachers to work overseas has been going through a legal battle over workers' compensation insurance for the last few years.

The company's insurance carrier denied it voluntary coverage for overseas employees in 2003. It was then denied assigned coverage as well. The company sued in 2006 to obtain coverage and was told that the insurance was required. Recently, however, an appeals court rescinded that ruling.

  2. It seems that you have placed a good bit of effort into your blog and this world require much more of these on the Internet these days. I honestly got a kick out of your post. I don’t have a bunch to to say in reply, I only wanted to comment to reply well done.
