Plant Explosion and Workers' Comp

Posted on June 11th, 2009 8 Comments

The explosion of the ConAgra plant in Garner has killed 3, put 4 people in the burn unit and hospitalized another 38. In the aftermath, insurance companies have sent experts to the scene to investigate.

Unfortunately, this could mean that the workers and families affected by the explosion may not get what they are due. The investigators will be looking for any evidence that would remove the blame from them and allow them to pay less in workers' compensation benefits.

If you are losing out on workers' compensation benefits, contact the Raleigh workers' compensation attorneys of Scudder & Hedrick, PLLC at 919-851-3311.
