Four construction workers were injured and hit by a car on Tuesday, March 3rd in Jacksonville, Florida.  The workers were taking part in a water line repair project when the accident occurred.

While on the job,  a white Camaro crashed through a barricade that was to identify and help protect the work area.  Three of the workers had to be taken to a hospital.  One of the workers suffered two broken legs according to released reports.  One of the workers was able to be treated and released on the scene.

The driver of the car that crashed into the workers was detained after the accident.  Officials are investigating to determine if drugs or alcohol were involved in the cause of the accident.
