Highway Worker Killed in Accident

An Indiana Department of Transportation worker was killed in an accident.  A Department of Transportation vehicle was warning drivers of work crews present and to change lanes.  A dump truck for the city ran into the vehicle from behind causing the accident.  The driver of the dump truck was taken to a local hospital where his accidents are not considered serious.  

The victim of the accident was a 49 year-old man. The man died shortly after the accident on Tuesday morning.    The police and other state officials are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of thee accident and more details should be released at a later time.

Workers Injured in Dock Accident

Three dock workers were injured in an accident on Sunday afternoon after they were hit by a large piece of equipment.  The accident occurred at the North Carolina State Prot which is in Wilmington.

The accident occurred when a loader attached to a crane struck the workers causing injuries.  After the equipment hit the workers,  it pinned them momentarily. Each of the workers suffered a broken leg from the accident.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and took the steps to treat the men for their injuries. The men were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Worker Hit by Drunk Driver

A worker has been injured this Friday after being hit by a drunk driver.  The worker was working on a construction project in Attleboro, Massachusetts.  The construction project has been ongoing for several months now. 

The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. in the morning.  Emergency officials responded to the scene of the accident and took the worker to a local area hospital to be treated for his injuries.  

The man who hit the construction worker is being held on charges of drunk driving and will soon face a judge in district court.

Worker Crushed by Steel

Police are investigating the scene of a workers death.  The police say that the man was killed in a work related accident.  The worker was 56 years-of-age when he lost his life.

The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning at a steel mill that is located in Forth Worth. The man was working on a project when a large piece of steel fell on him.  The steel weighed several tons and crushed the man.

Construction Workers Hit By Car

Four construction workers were injured and hit by a car on Tuesday, March 3rd in Jacksonville, Florida.  The workers were taking part in a water line repair project when the accident occurred.

While on the job,  a white Camaro crashed through a barricade that was to identify and help protect the work area.  Three of the workers had to be taken to a hospital.  One of the workers suffered two broken legs according to released reports.  One of the workers was able to be treated and released on the scene.  

The driver of the car that crashed into the workers was detained after the accident.  Officials are investigating to determine if drugs or alcohol were involved in the cause of the accident.

Two City Workers Injured When Stair Case Falls

Three people were injured in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday when a staircase collapsed.  Two of the individuals injured in the accident were city workers. 

Emergency officials were called to the scene to help the accident victims.  The two city workers and the other individuals dropped over 30 feet to the ground on the staircase that collapsed.  

The two city workers were with another individual inspecting the building for possible purchase.  The building could have been a part of a renovation project to restore the building which has been a historic structure among the city for over a hundred years.
