Agency releases benchmarking study measuring workplace injury treatment cost
A comprehensive report titled CompScope Benchmarks, 14th Edition gives its readers a look into how 16 states’ workers’ compensation systems are measured.
The report was released by the Workers Compensation Research Institute. It examines how factors such as income benefits, overall medical payments, use of benefits, litigiousness, benefit delivery expenses, timeliness of payment, cost of payment and duration of disability have influenced how claims are affected from 2007 to 2012.
The states involved in the study make up nearly 60% of U.S.’s workers’ compensation benefit payments.
If you have been injured at work, you may be able to obtain workers compensation payments. Please contact an experienced attorney at Scudder & Hedrick, PLLC in Raleigh by calling (919) 851-3311 to discuss your legal options today.
